Team DSM coach Bennie Lambregts: “2 Districtenpijl is a new race for us and one we’re looking forward to taking part in as it will give our Development program riders good experience of riding in a hectic, kermesse-style race. Taking place on a flat parcours on two different laps, the finish circuit also includes a short cobbled section towards the finale. Our aim for the race is to really focus on developing our communication and riding well together as a group. We want to be present in all of the breakaways, which is important in this type of racing, as it can be an unpredictable afternoon. If things do come down to a sprint in the finale, then Tobias will be our designated finisher that we work to set up.”
