Team DSM coach Bennie Lambregts: “We’re looking forward to continuing our stage racing block at the Baloise Ladies Tour. It’s a dynamic parcours with two time trials, a Flemish Ardennes style stage, plus sprint and possible wind-affected stages. We start with a mix of more experienced riders and some young riders that can learn a lot in a race like this. There are also some nice sprint opportunities where we will look to protect Lorena as our finisher and with that also further practice the lead out. Of course, the time trials will be important and help to shape the GC but we will aim to play our cards in the other stages to see if we can put a rider in a good position on GC come the end of the week.”
