Team DSM coach Luke Roberts: “The course for the 2022 Deutschland Tour is quite interesting, with the addition of a short 2.7 kilometre long prologue time trial and a very challenging mountain-top finish at Schauinsland on stage three. There will be opportunities for the sprinters and stages to suit the breakaway specialists but the overall classification will be fought out this year between the climbers. With our line up, we will aim for a top result in the overall classification and look for stage results also in the sprints.”
