Team DSM coach Boris Zimine: “Dorpenomloop Ruchpen race is an exciting race that takes place exclusively on a circuit. In a race like this, the efforts the riders put in are always repeated in the same place and the differences are often made in the last part of the race. It will therefore be important to establish a precise plan to ensure that we can save as much energy during the day as possible without being blocked in and missing any dangerous moves. We have several good options in the team to play, depending on how the race pans out due to the weather, while debutant Lorenzo will be our finisher if it comes down to a large group sprint.”
