Team DSM coach Albert Timmer: “Drentse Acht van Westerveld takes place on a mostly flat parcours but over the narrow and twisting Dutch roads it can be a hard day in the saddle, particularly if the weather conditions are bad – something that often happens. We arrive with a strong team that is capable of riding well in those poor conditions and we hope to be present at the front of the race, riding well as a unit. If things do come back down to a fast finish, then we will look to set up Charlotte as our finisher on the day.”
