Team DSM coach Boris Zimine: “The Giro Valle d’Aosta is a big race for the U23 peloton where a lot of famous climbers have shown their potential in the past. As always, the parcours of the race looks tough but there are also opportunities for riders who aren’t pure climbers in this year’s edition. We left the Baby Giro with a lot of confidence and we are looking forward to coming back to Italy now for another good block of racing. We have a really good group for the race, including Oscar, who just finished in the top 10 at the Baby Giro. As usual, our goal will be to work well as a team and take each stage one at a time as we look for our opportunities day-by-day through some good racing.”
