Team DSM coach Huub Duijn: “After a period of rest and little racing for most of the riders in our squad for a few weeks, we’re back racing again at Itzulia Women in the Basque Country. It is an interesting route for the race with three hard stages on the menu, with the last day similar to the women’s version of the Classica San Sebastián with the famous Jaizkibel climb. We have a strong squad with good climbing legs going to the race and we will look for opportunities when the road rises; riding aggressively and looking to play our different cards.”
