Team DSM coach Bennie Lambregts: “Ronde van Achterhoek is an exciting race and one we come to as defending champions, after Casper [van Uden] took the win for the team last season. It’s an intriguing route with 20 gravel sections in the first part of the parcours while in contrast, the last 40 kilometres don’t contain any gravel sections. That means that as a team we have to survive the gravel sections well to enter the finale with multiple riders so that we can play the game; with Tobias is our finisher in this race if it comes down to a sprint.”
