Team DSM coach Albert Timmer: “We head to the Flanders Diamond Tour with a lot of confidence after our recent successes as a team, as we start the race with the same line-up that took the victory for us at the recent Dwars door de Westhoek. Normally we expect the race to end in a sprint finish but the area is exposed so strong winds could potentially split up the bunch. We need to be attentive throughout the race for that possibility and we have a strong team to cover different scenarios. If there is no wind and it does stay together for a sprint, then we will aim to work together and deliver Lorena for the finale again where we can go for another top result.”
