Team DSM coach Pim Ligthart: “We continue our time in France at the Tour des Alpes Maritimes et du Var, where we will start with a young and ambitious squad. It’s great that two guys from the Development program, Lorenzo and Hannes, will join our Men’s program for the race as it gives them some more opportunities to learn and develop. As for the racing, we will continue where we left off at the Tour de la Provence; riding aggressively and creating opportunities for ourselves. Stages one and three look like they can end in reduced sprints, while stage two offers a punchy finish after a hard climb, with our focus over the three stages on working well together as we go for day results.”
