Fruit Trifle – Serves 2 people:
A protein rich fruit trifle – perfect as a recovery snack after an intense training, or as a pre-sleep protein boost, we’ve been enjoying this one at our Team Camps throughout January.
- 400g quark
- 200g strawberries (or other seasonal fruit)
- 30g biscuits
- 20g walnuts
- 20g honey
- 2x dessert bowl or glass
- Cutting knife
- Cutting board
- Crunch the biscuits with a knife on a cutting board.
- Put around 50g of quark into each dessert bowl and make layers with the biscuits, fruits, walnuts and honey. Continue this until you reach four layers.
- Top the trifle with honey and decorate with some left over crunched biscuit pieces, strawberries, walnuts and honey.
