Ingredients (Serves 10)

  • 200g dates
  • 50g apple syrup
  • 250ml lactose free milk
  • 300g of Banket mix from the Bisschopsmolen
  • 10g of cinnamon
  • 5g of ginger powder
  • 1 sachet of baking powder

Equipment required

  • Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Cake tin
  • Baking paper
  • Oven
  • Blender

Cooking method

  1. Heat up the oven to 160 degrees
  2. Blend the dates, apple syrup and milk into a smooth mixture
  3. Mix all of the dry products together
  4. Combine the date mixture with the dry mixture, and mix thoroughly
  5. Put baking paper inside the cake tin
  6. Add the mixture (gingerbread) into the cake tin
  7. Bake the gingerbread for 40-45 minutes
  8. Take the gingerbread out of the oven and leave to cool
  9. Once it is cooled, cut into pieces and enjoy!
