On April 25th the festive opening of SCOTT Netherlands took place, after a long time of hope to have this department in the Netherlands. SCOTT are growing fast in the Dutch market, which made an own branch office more relevant in order to further optimise the service to dealers with an even more personal approach. “We try to be as close to our dealers as possible, that’s why we decided to open this department”, says Johan Huygens, CEO of SCOTT Sportech Benelux. Inside the building there is a large showroom where the collections of SCOTT are presented and the location offers office and training rooms where the dealers can train in the future.
Team DSM
There also was a panel discussion with members of Team DSM. Floortje Mackaij, who finished 6th in Paris Roubaix 2022, was present during the opening and she shared her personal experience about the Scott Addict RC. The close collaboration between Team DSM and SCOTT was also discussed by Piet Rooijakkers, R&D Expert from Team DSM: “We learn a lot from each other with the goal of getting better and developing new things.”
