Team DSM and Shimano are pleased to announce their long-standing partnership will be extended into the upcoming 2023 road cycling season. The partnership will be for two-years. As a global brand with a focus on sporting goods and the outdoors, Shimano has been a partner with Team DSM from the very start, when the team first arrived on the world cycling stage in 2008 as Skil-Shimano.
Team DSM have worked with Shimano’s high-quality products for over 15 years, contributing to the team’s numerous victories.
Amassing over 40 victories across the Men’s and Women’s WorldTour programs in 2022, including stage wins in all three Grand Tours, Team DSM was also the first team to hold the yellow jersey in the inaugural Tour de France Femmes. Shimano’s reliable presence in some of the teams’ biggest wins is testament to the support and expertise it provides to the riders and team mechanics.
The 2023 season will see Team DSM’s Men’s, Women’s and Development programs continue to use Shimano’s top-of-the-line components and accessories including its DURA-ACE group set, wheels, and power meters. Furthermore, Team DSM riders will have the latest Shimano footwear, including the S-PHYRE shoes, which will provide comfort and performance on the road, as they race for the line this season, or while putting in the long training miles.
